GAIS have named their squad for the away match against Djurgården in the Allsvenskan on Monday night. The team, sitting tenth in the table with 27 points, will be without several key players due to injuries.
The clash at 3 Arena in Stockholm kicks off at 19:00 and will be broadcast on TV4 Play. Among the 21 players selected are goalkeepers Mergim Krasniqi and Andreas Hermansen and the centre-back pairing of Oskar Ågren and August Wängberg. Striker Samuel Salter, the team's top scorer this season with six goals, is not in the squad. The club states he is being prioritised in training after taking a knock.
Three players are out with long-term injuries. They are Frosti Þorkelsson, Gustav Lundgren and Kevin Holmén. Additionally, Anes Cardaklija and Christos Gravius are unavailable with minor injuries and are undergoing rehabilitation.
