GAIS holds a special place in the heart of artist Dogge Doggelito, who is otherwise known for his support of AIK. His connection to GAIS goes back to his grandmother, Gurli Östborn, who was a loyal supporter of the team. Dogge recalls how they used to travel to Hovenäset on the West Coast, where his grandmother lived. Although she wasn't particularly interested in sports, she supported GAIS, which has made the club a significant part of his life. Dogge also shares an interesting story about his name, which may have been inspired by former GAIS star Douglas Krook. He explains that the resemblance between him and Krook was evident even as a baby, which could have contributed to his name choice. Recently, Dogge had his old GAIS jersey signed by Glenn Hysén, which he describes as a great honor. Despite his support for AIK, GAIS has always followed him throughout his life, and he looks forward to experiencing a Göteborgsderby in person. Dogge also has a cap with the GAIS logo at home, which he jokingly says stands for 'glada goa Gurli' after his grandmother.
