GAIS won against Kalmar FF with 3-0 in a match that was full of excitement. Kalmar FF had a good start, but GAIS took over after a half hour and stood up much better than the result suggested. Vilmer Tyrén and Anes Cardaklija were two of the players who stood out in the match and scored goals for GAIS. Robert Gojani shot a shot that hit a Gais player's hand, but the referee waved it off. The second situation occurred halfway through the second half, when Vilmer Tyrén hit a pass that Anes Cardaklija threw himself to cover – and caught with his hand. Cardaklija said he was not worried about causing a penalty. 20-year-old Cardakilja, who has played for Gais since he was five, ended the match by scoring 3–0 – his first Allsvenskan goal. GAIS won with 3-0 and remained at the top of the table.
