GAIS midfielder Joackim Fagerjord played against Sirius despite three yellow cards. It was a yellow card that the referees missed to include in the match report after the match against Malmö FF. This meant that Fagerjord stood on two yellow cards before the match against Sirius. Sirius coach Andreas Engelmark tried to get Fagerjord suspended for the match and sent in an appeal earlier in the week. Fagerjord himself says that he thought he would be suspended for the match against Sirius. He got to play, however, and thinks that justice was served in this case. GAIS coach Fredrik Holmberg reacts to the missed yellow card against Malmö FF and says that it's not his job to comment on it either. He chooses not to do so. GAIS will receive Kalmar FF next week and Fagerjord is not available as he picked up a yellow card against Sirius and is thus suspended.
