GAIS Open is one of Sweden's largest youth football tournaments and is held for the 17th time in the fall. The tournament is played in central Gothenburg and is open to teams in age groups 12, 13, 14 and 15 years. Skåne youth teams have participated several times and experience it as a very good cup. - We have been able to meet teams that have other ways of playing, says Stiv Trajkovski, coach of GIF Nike's team for boys born in 2009. - Then you see how you hold up against tougher opponents. GAIS Open is a unique opportunity for youth teams to play against teams from all over the country and develop their skills. - It has spilled over into the past two years, where we were able to qualify for the national series for P16 and now play in the national series for P17, says Stiv Trajkovski. GAIS Open is played on All Saints' Eve, Friday, October 30 to Sunday, November 1 in Gothenburg. Age groups: 12 to 15 years. The matches are played in central Gothenburg and accommodation is offered at hotels or schools - transport and logistics are smooth.
