GAIS U21 team won yesterday against Jönköpings Södra's equivalent team with 4-3. Several top players played for GAIS, including Yussif Chibsah, Linus Tornblad, Sandeep Mankoo, Petrit Zhubi and Adam Eriksson.

What happened?

Thieves broke into the GAIS players' locker room and managed to steal valuables during the match. It is still unclear whether it was one or several people behind the theft.

Why is it important for GAIS?

– When the players came back after the match, a back door was open towards the forest. Some mobile phones, laptops and cash had then disappeared, says Erik Bergkvist.

What happens now?

GAIS has not yet made any police report as the club is not the victim. Since no damage has been done to the premises, windows or doors, the theft is considered a theft of personal property.
